A late night drive in Sparks ended in tragedy.

Firefighters in Carson City say they were able to stop a fire along Kitchen Drive from spreading to other buildings.

Traffic is moving again along I-80 near East McCarran Boulevard after police activity shut lanes in both directions on Monday evening.

Sparks residents will have a chance to meet their fire chief, ask questions, and share what matters most to them.
