Actor-comedian Russell Brand said allegations of sexual misconduct have had a "devastating" impact on his life, as he testified in court Wednesday at his trial on charges of rape and sexual assault.

Brand, who denies all of the rape and sexual assault charges against him, said at Southwark Crown Court that he has not persuaded anyone to testify on his behalf.

Winter moved on to count 5, in which a woman alleged Brand sexually assaulted her when she was in her 20s and working at a radio station in 2004 or 2005.

Winter asked Brand whether he “sloppily kissed her”.
