Gold unchanged at Rs425,636 per tola, silver falls by Rs86

KARACHI – Gold prices remained stable in both the international and local markets, while silver prices declined.

According to reports, the price of gold in the international bullion market held steady at $4,031 per ounce, unchanged.

Similarly, in the local market, gold stayed unchanged at Rs425,636 per tola, while the price per 10 grams also held steady at Rs364,914.

Meanwhile, silver fell by Rs86 to Rs5,768 per tola, and the price per 10 grams dropped by Rs73 to Rs4,945.

KARACHI – Pakistan gold bullion market witnessed positive trends in previous session as price of 24-karat gold opened at Rs425,536 per tola on October 29.

Bullion prices rebounded after they recorded a sharp decline during October, falling Rs20,000 per tola from their monthly peak, including a Rs17,000 drop in just five consecutive trading sessions. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,001 to settle at Rs364,914, snapping a losing streak that has significantly reduced the value of gold within a matter of days.

International Gold Prices

The upward movement in Pakistan has coincided with increasing international gold prices, adding to pressure on the domestic bullion market. The international gold rate moved up by $35 per ounce to $4,031.
