The former policeman sent a friend a series of messages shortly before he allegedly killed Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, a court has heard.
A friend of the ex-police officer has told his trial that he arrived at her home three days after the alleged killings and said he needed to scrub blood from a van.
The accused double killer told police his friend “flat-out lied” about her involvement after the deaths of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, his trial heard.
