Nizamiye Hospital in Abuja, Nigeria, where the country’s first Ebola patient was admitted this week. An African health official said that if authorities could not come up with ways to stamp out the outbreak, “the whole continent can be affected.”
Nigeria is the latest country to report an Ebola case as the latest outbreak spreads across the region. Kenya confirmed its first case earlier this month and has since recorded nine infections.
