Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to expand its sovereign artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure by attracting investment companies to build a large data center in Ukraine, Minister of Digital Transformation Oksana Ferchuk said, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

Russia has intensified cyberattacks on Ukraine's public and commercial sectors using artificial intelligence (AI) tools that make attacks faster to prepare and carry out, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Oksana Ferchuk said.

Kyivstar Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: KYIV), the parent company of Ukraine's largest telecommunications operator, Kyivstar, has announced the acquisition of GigaCloud, one of Ukraine's leading cloud infrastructure providers, for nearly UAH 2.28 billion (almost $50 million) to expand its cloud solutions capabilities for businesses.
